BotArmy
BotArmy lets a server owner summon a group of AI-controlled player bots that fight, guard and hunt on command.
What it does
Bots are built on the fake player summoning features of Carpet, so they can be spawned as offline players and controlled from server commands. An army command sends the group to attack a chosen player. Each bot follows a state machine with distinct behavioral states, so it can stand guard over a post and scan the area around it, roam while avoiding ledges and cliffs, or hunt a target without stopping.
Combat follows modern PvP rules. Bots respect attack cooldowns instead of spam clicking, and each one takes a class such as Sword, Axe, Mace, Elytra Mace, Crystal, Ground or Minecart. A bot that drops below four hearts turns around, sprints away and eats a golden apple to recover before returning to the fight. The mod runs on the server, and a player joins without installing anything. Required dependencies are Carpet, Cloth Config API and Mod Menu.

Below four hearts a bot turns away, sprints out of combat and eats a golden apple before it re-engages.

Use cases
PvP and arena testing
Server owners can set up a group of bots to fight players in an arena, or to practice combat against a set of mechanics.
Machinima and video
The author built the mod to film scenes with large armies, and the same army commands can be used for recording.
Who it’s for: Server owners who want scripted opponents or large groups of bots for combat scenes, and builders who record videos with many fighters at once. Players on a server that runs BotArmy need nothing installed.
