Botanical Machinery Extra
by LMor
With Botanical Machinery Extra, Botania's mana machines gain a Forge addon with four tiers, larger mana and water storage, and a connected cable for Applied Energistics 2 networks.
What it does
The addon extends the Botanical Machinery mod. Its machines come in four tiers named Malachite, Saffron, Shadow and Crimson, and each tier raises slot counts and the amount of mana and water the machine can hold. The Crimson tier stores 2.5M mana and 16B water, and a Spark transfer rate of 25k is listed in the notes.
Its main feature is integration with Applied Energistics 2. A connecting cable carries up to 8 channels, letting a machine draw from an ME network and unload its output back into the inventory without manual steps. Botania, Botanical Machinery, LibX and Applied Energistics 2 are required, while Applied Botanics, JEI and MythicBotany are optional.
The mod is published for Forge only, with five release versions covering 1.18.2 – 1.20.1. The latest file, 1.20.1-1.1.2, was released on 2024-12-06. Client and server both need the mod. The code is open source under the Apache License 2.0, and the source is public on GitHub, where bug reports are also collected.
