Bedrock Jockey

by AvatarKage

Bedrock Jockey lets baby zombies seek out Bedrock-exclusive mounts and ride them as jockeys, changing how zombie encounters play out on a server.

ForgeNeoForgeServer-side onlyAll rights reserved1.20 – 1.21.8

What it does

Baby zombies that spawn in the world look for Bedrock-exclusive mounts and climb on, so the mounted pairs appear as jockeys. The mod builds on Jockey API, which must be installed alongside it on both Forge and NeoForge.

Mob types covered include zombies, zombie villagers, husks, zombie piglins and the other zombie variants the author text lists. Bedrock Jockey is server-side only, so players join without installing anything. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge across 12 release versions, 1.20 – 1.21.8, under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Baby zombie jockeys

Baby zombies look for Bedrock-exclusive mounts and become jockeys when they find one.

  2. Chicken and spider mounts

Chicken jockeys and spider jockeys are among the mounted combinations the mod produces.

  3. Dolphin mounts

Dolphin jockeys are included, giving water-based encounters a mounted variant.

  4. Zombie variants

Zombies, zombie villagers, husks and zombie piglins all take part in the jockey behaviour.
