FasterZombies changes how quickly zombies and husks move on a Forge server running Minecraft 1.20.1.
What it does
The mod speeds up zombies so they move faster than their vanilla pace, and it also raises the speed of husks. Baby zombies are included in the change, so the faster movement applies to them as well. Its files target only 1.20.1 and load on Forge.
Only the server needs the mod: players join without installing anything, and clients keep their normal experience. The latest Forge build is 1.0.0 for 1.20.1, released on 2025-07-10 under the MIT License, which is not open source.

Zombies move at a higher speed than in vanilla, making encounters on the ground more pressing.
Husk speed boost
Husks are sped up as well, so the change covers both common undead mobs of the overworld.
Baby zombie coverage
Baby zombies receive the same speed change, so smaller undead are affected too.
