Aurora's Decorations adds building blocks, light sources, workstations and redstone blocks to Minecraft for Quilt, with new wood types and world generation.
What it does
The mod is built around decoration, adding simple building blocks, extensions of existing blocks and new light sources. Several items come with a specific purpose, and some blocks can be obtained in new ways. Game mechanisms include new workstations and new redstone blocks, and biomes and plants are included as well.
Some additions aim at atmosphere and gameplay, and a few add new world generation features. A new wood type comes with its own wooden blocks, and the mod coexists with other mods, with compatibility handled through Registry analysis at runtime. The code is available under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and the mod is open source with public links to source, issues and a wiki.
Installation covers the server and each player's game. It requires Quilted Fabric API and Quilt Standard Libraries, and it works with EMI and Trinkets when they are present. Aurora's Lanterns is bundled inside the mod. Files cover 1.19.2, 1.20 and 1.20.1, with the latest Quilt build, 1.0.0-beta.26+1.20.1, released on 2025-08-31 in the beta channel.
