What it does

Astro! Reforged is a redesigned and polished version of the earlier Astro mod, developed by Prismatica with a focus on making its effects more reliable, easier to understand and closer to the base game's behavior. Its items work with other movement mods, and the gravity-based set is an alternative to Netherite armor. Players can try it alongside other movement items.

Once an Astro item is deployed, it becomes immune to gravity and releases a large area of effect that modifies the gravity of entities within about 10 blocks. Reduced gravity can be applied while the player is not sneaking. Mauveine armor's gravity reduction is applied last, and its gravity bombs stack with the rest of the armor's effects.

Installation requires Fabric API, Gravity Changer (qouteall fork) and Pufferfish's Attributes. The mod runs on the client and on the server, so both sides need it. Its latest file, 1.1.3 for 1.20.1, was published on 2026-02-27, and the first release dates from 2025-09-19.

Key features

  1. Gravity bombs

High Gravity Bombs increase gravity by 800 percent, while Low Gravity Bombs reduce it by 70 percent.

  2. Area gravity field

A deployed item releases an area of effect that changes the gravity of entities within about 10 blocks.

  3. Mauveine armor effects

Gravity bombs stack with the Mauveine armor, and its gravity reduction is applied last.

  4. Reduced gravity control

Reduced gravity is disabled while the player sneaks, so the effect can be controlled during movement.
