Amecs Reborn
Amecs Reborn lets players assign modifier-based keybinds, such as Control, Shift, Alt and Option, Windows, Super or Command, to in-game controls.
What it does
The mod is a continuation of the original Amecs mod, which its previous maintainer stopped updating. Amecs Reborn merges the earlier fork and the Amecs-Api library into one code base, and it adds support for the Windows, Super and Command keys with platform-specific translations for their names. A settings menu can switch off the non-core features, and a search bar helps find controls in the menu.
Amecs Reborn runs only on the client, so servers do not need it and players can join without installing it. It requires Fabric API. The project also bundles PlatformLanguageLoader, and it has full compatibility with the Controlling mod. Builds target 1.21.1 – 1.21.6, with the latest Fabric file for 1.21.6, and the code is open source under the Apache License 2.0.

Keybinds can be set with modifier keys, so one control can be bound to combinations such as Control with a letter.

Toggleable features
An options menu lets players disable the non-core features of the mod.
