Ambience recolors the sky, foliage, water, lava, fire and clouds, so a world can look different without changing its terrain.

What it does

The mod changes the color of the environment. Its settings cover the overworld, nether and end sky, a gradient across the overworld sky with brightness and height controls, and the tint of clouds, water, lava and fire. A foliage section sets the color of leaves, grass blocks, short grass and tall grass. A general section turns the mod on and off and can override the in-game time.

Ambience is a client-side mod built for Fabric, with a dependency on WalksyLib. The author lists an overworld sky color value of C600FF and a gradient value of white, and gives Grass Block and Leaves as sample foliage settings. Files cover 1.21 – 26.3 across 17 release versions, released under the MIT License and open source. The latest file is 2.2.0+26.3 for 26.3, published 2026-10-09.
