Adventure Mode Tweaks
by Serilum
Adventure Mode Tweaks, a Serilum mod, changes how Adventure Mode restricts block breaking, placing and entity interaction, with each change configurable.
What it does
The mod adds a set of Adventure Mode mechanic changes. Players can be stopped from breaking paintings, item frames, minecarts and boats, and from placing them, while leads can be kept from breaking blocks. Other options block ender pearl use, sleeping in beds, fishing and hooking entities, shearing sheep, milking cows, and lighting placed TNT. Each option can be turned on or off in the config, so a server can choose exactly which restrictions apply.
Survival worlds can be switched to Adventure Mode globally through a config option, and the Create World screen reflects the change. Another option makes new players spawn in Adventure Mode. Mob-related options stop attacks on passive or hostile mobs, and entity interaction can be blocked entirely. Adventure Mode Tweaks requires Collective and is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. Its files cover 1.20.1 – 26.3, and the latest build is 26.3.0-1.5-fabric+forge+neo for 26.3. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The code is not open source, and it is released under All rights reserved.

How it compares
Puncher is open source under the MIT License, is server-side only and covers 1.20 – 1.21.4 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. oSzoukaua's: Re-place! is server required with client optional, and is not open source under a Creative Commons license. Adventure Protect is limited to Fabric for 1.21.1 and is also not open source. Adventure Mode Tweaks covers a wider version range and gives per-action config options instead.

What the author says
Adventure Mode Tweaks makes various changes to, you guessed it, adventure mode game mechanics. The idea came from realizing that players are able to break paintings, which obviously shouldn't be the case. The functionality was extended from there. For example, without the mod, you are able to break minecarts but not…
