Ad Vitam is a Quilt add-on for Requiem that adds a new Remnant type, the Wraith, along with status effects and balance changes to Requiem's systems.
What it does
Ad Vitam adds a Wraith remnant type that can reanimate corpses on the ground. Among its additions are the ability to break stone with bare decomposing hands, faster stone block breaking, and a Second Wind status effect that gives a player time to collect items before burning up. Roasted spider eyes offer a simpler route to curing Weakness.
The mod also includes a Memento Mori status effect, which stores and reapplies Attrition after a player dies. Its balancing covers Demons, hostile detection and Zombies, and Attrition's softlock feature is disabled by default for a semi-hardcore experience. Protection from most environmental damage, including fire, suffocation, falling, drowning and drying out, is part of the add-on's changes.
Requiem is required, and the mod needs it to run. The mod is open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Builds exist for 1.19 – 1.19.3, with 1.0.0+1.19 for 1.19.3 as the latest Quilt file, published on 2023-02-19.

Attrition's softlock feature is disabled by default, which suits a semi-hardcore experience with Requiem.
