With VoiceCraft.Java, players on different voice clients share one proximity voice space, and Bedrock players joining through Geyser can take part too.
What it does
Players who use Simple Voice Chat and players who use Plasmo Voice standalone can talk to each other, and each client hears the reply through the client it already uses. Java players keep their preferred voice mod, while Bedrock players joining through Geyser can talk and listen using the VoiceCraft client alone, with no Java mods added.
The mod runs in two modes. Direct mode covers a single Paper server, while Velocity and BungeeCord mode covers multi-server networks, where a proxy holds the central VoiceCraft connection and the other servers supply player state. VoiceCraft.Java can fetch and manage a matching VoiceCraft Server runtime and connect it to an existing VoiceCraft backend. Both the Simple Voice Chat and Plasmo Voice adapters are disabled by default and are enabled in config.yml. The mod is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later and needs Fabric API to load.

Distance, cave echo and underwater muffling follow the position and rotation of each player in the world.
Speaking and mute indicators
Connection, speaking, muted and deafened states appear as lightweight overlay symbols above players, including unmodded ones.
Configurable indicators
The color, height, refresh timing and visible range of these symbols can be set in the configuration file.
