Virtual Camera
by TGdoesCode
With Virtual Camera, a player can feed a Minecraft view into a webcam source, so streams and calls can show the game as a virtual camera.
What it does
The mod creates a virtual webcam inside the game. A camera feed in Minecraft can be set up with its own angle, field of view, gravity and position, and the camera can be made to follow the player directly. Players can use it in singleplayer worlds as well as on public servers, since the feature works on the client side.
Installation needs Fabric API on Fabric for 1.21.8 – 1.21.11. Virtual Camera runs on client and server, and the driver is set up once the game has been launched and the operating system has been restarted. If the Windows setup does not work, the mod can be used with the OBS virtual camera by adding a browser source at localhost:7236. The mod is released under the GNU General Public License v2.0 only, and its source code is public. The optional Frog Offline image dependency is also supported.
Key features
Virtual webcam feed
The game view is sent to a webcam source, so streaming and video software can select Minecraft as a camera.
Camera angle and position
Angle, field of view, gravity and position can be adjusted, and the camera can be set to follow the player.
Driver removal
A batch file in the mod's folder under the minecraft directory uninstalls the virtual camera driver when it is no longer needed.

How it compares
Easy Camera is a Fabric mod for 1.21.1 – 1.21.7 that runs on client and server and is released under the MIT License. IoTcraft is also open source under the MIT License, but it is client-side only and covers 1.20.1 – 1.21.4. Director's Cut is client-side only, open source under the MIT License, and built for 1.20.1 – 1.21.5, so it does not provide a virtual webcam feed.
