Use Item on Block Event is a Forge and NeoForge library that fires a cancellable event when a player right-clicks a block or item.

What it does

Other mods can listen for this event with the Forge event-listening API and cancel an item or block interaction before the game handles it. Compared with the built-in handling, the event offers finer targeting, separating whether the block or the held item is the one being used. Either side can run it, and neither needs it, so installing it on one side is enough. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge under 1.20.1, and the code is released under the MIT License.
