Unlocked Typing
by Lupin
Unlocked Typing lets players write the classic § color and formatting codes into text fields that normally reject them, including signs, books, anvils, world names and chat.
What it does
Where the vanilla game blocks the § symbol, the mod accepts the color codes from 0 to f and the styling codes for bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, obfuscation and reset, so text can carry colors and effects. It needs MonoLib as a required dependency. Client and server: the server and every player need the mod. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. Files exist for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 1.20.1 – 26.1.2.
