Universal Clock HUD
by Aizistral
Universal Clock HUD draws the vanilla clock as a small client-side overlay, with options for its position, format and background.
What it does
The overlay shows the system time on screen, using the same clock the game already renders in the player's inventory. Its default spot is the lower-left corner, and it can be moved to a preset position or to a custom anchor set by X and Y values in the config file. Because the clock is drawn only on the client, it needs no install on the server, and it was previously part of Enigmatic Legacy before being split out.
The config file UniversalClockHUD.toml, found in the config folder, controls whether the clock appears only in fullscreen mode or also while chat is open, whether a background sits behind it, and whether the time uses a 12-hour or 24-hour format. The author notes that values behave differently at different GUI scales and screen resolutions, so custom positions may need adjusting after a resolution change. The mod is licensed under a custom license and is not open source; source code and an issue tracker are linked from its page. It targets Forge, with 6 release versions 1.18 – 1.19.2 and the latest file for 1.19.2 dated 2022-11-08.
Key features
Clock overlay
A basic clock is drawn on screen using the vanilla clock's system time, so the time stays visible during play.
Fullscreen-only display
An option limits the clock to fullscreen mode, and another decides whether it stays visible while chat is open.
Position presets and custom anchors
Several preset positions are available, and a custom preset can be defined with adjustable X and Y anchor coordinates.
Time format and background
The clock can show 12-hour or 24-hour time and can be drawn with or without a background behind it.
Compatibility

I mainly made this for myself, as one of few people who prefer to play in fullscreen mode (because of resolution issues), where you can't easily see the time, which for me is absolutely required to be easily visible. By default, the clock is located in left-bottom corner of…
