With True Shot Enchantment, bows fire arrows that ignore gravity, a mechanic added through a new enchantment on bows.

What it does

The enchantment lets a bow launch arrows on a straight path that ignores gravity, so they do not drop over distance. Arrows fired this way disappear once they pass a maximum height. The enchantment can be obtained from enchantment table use, loot chests and trading with villagers.

The mod runs on the server, and players can join without installing it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with the latest build for 26.3. It is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later.

  1. Gravity-free arrows

    Arrows shot from an enchanted bow travel in a straight line instead of arcing downward.

  2. Height limit

    Each true shot arrow is removed once it rises past a maximum height, which limits how far it flies.
