Toggle Item Frames
With Toggle Item Frames, players can hide or reveal item frames by sneaking and right-clicking with an empty hand, without relying on commands.
What it does
Toggle Item Frames changes whether item frames are visible. Sneaking and right-clicking an item frame with an empty hand flips it between visible and invisible, which makes it possible to build and manage hidden item frames in survival play. Holding an item frame in the hand reveals the item frames around it, so hidden ones can be found again.
The mod is built for Fabric and Forge and covers 26 release versions from 1.17 up to 1.21.10. Installation needs Fabric API on Fabric. Both the server and the client may run it, but neither side requires it. Its files are released under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
Key features
Hidden item frames
Sneaking and right-clicking an item frame with an empty hand makes it invisible, so it can hold an item without being seen.
Reveal nearby frames
Holding an item frame in the hand makes every item frame in the immediate area visible again.
Default invisibility setting
A config option can make all item frames hidden by default, including on servers where the mod is absent.
Server-side toggle
The toggle works on the server, so players interacting with frames on a server running the mod can hide them without any command.

Use cases
Survival builds
Builders can place item frames that look like plain walls or floors, since the frames stay hidden until a player reveals them.
Hidden storage displays
Item frames used as concealed displays or hints can be hidden from players who are not meant to see them.
Who it’s for: Players who build in survival worlds and server owners who want invisible item frames without running commands.
