The Umbralkers (horror)
The Umbralkers is a Forge horror mod for 1.19.2 that adds hostile creatures, fungal crafting materials and a few unusual tools to Minecraft.
What it does
The mod adds the fungal species extenta glomerorum artus alongside the vanilla world, and it leans on horror themes. Dawn is a failed attempt at mimicking humans that lurks in deserts and watches the player, and a tall hostile creature rises in coniferous forests. Players who get too close to the tall creature are pulled away and left with only a fedora. Falling Umbryphae drops onto players from cave ceilings, and mysterious Blossoms sprout in lush, damp areas.
Crafting materials are built around the mod's fungi and horror setting. Umbresidue is unstable and makes a strong drop to aim for. Fractured limbranch combined with Umbresidue makes regular limbranch, and umbranther is recommended as an edible material. A Blossom chunk can brew a potion called blossom's haze, and the mod adds a silly potion meant for messing around with friends. The Umbralkers runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It requires Geckolib and is published for Forge only, under All rights reserved and not open source, with 0.9.0 as the latest file for 1.19.2 on the beta channel.

A ranged weapon that causes destruction when used the wrong way.
Thorned Umbryphae Block

What the author says
This horror mod was inspired by some old sketches ive drawn before -Dawn, a failed attempt at mimicing humans, it can be seen lurking in the desert watching you. They fade away when you're too close to them leaving only their fedora behind.
