What it does
Vetala Dweller is a horror mod for Forge. A long critter appears in the world once a certain amount of time has passed after the mod is installed, and it begins to act hostile toward the player. The author advises players to run away, since the creature is extremely difficult to kill. Sounds that startle the player are part of the experience, and the author suggests listening at certain moments, such as before going to bed. Because the mod is Client and server, the server and every player need it. It is released for Forge only, across 1.19.2, 1.19.4 and 1.20.1, and the latest Forge file is 1.0.2 for 1.20.1. The code is under All rights reserved and is not open source.
