Technical Enchant+
by Frektip
Technical Enchant+ rebuilds the enchanting setup around tiered enchanting tables, charged bookshelves, a Technical Anvil and a set of new items for managing enchantments.
What it does
Enchanting tables gain tiers. Placing charged bookshelves two to five blocks around a table raises its tier, and each tier makes a stronger group of enchantments available: Tier 1 offers low enchantments for 10 levels and 1 lapis, Tier 2 average enchantments for 20 levels and 2 lapis, and Tier 3 strong enchantments for 30 levels and 3 lapis. A Tier 4 step converts pages into power-enchanted books, and Tier 5 adds decorative particles. Lapis can be hovered above the table to feed it, and the table's level-up timing is changed.
The mod adds more than 50 new enchantments and a wider enchanting system built around them. A Technical Anvil merges and extracts custom enchantments and curses, while an Isolated Core and a Blessed Orb handle rare items, including removing custom or vanilla curses and converting a mob's enchanted item. Currency can be traded with an Advanced Enchanter, and a guide book explains the new mechanics. Installation needs the mod on both the client and the server, since the environment is client and server; the mod is published for Fabric and Forge for 1.19 – 1.19.4 under a custom license that is not open source.
