Supplemental Patches
by jedlimlx
Supplemental Patches lets players write custom shaders that cover modded blocks, entities, items and particles through a resource pack, and it requires Oculus with Iris Shaders.
What it does
Supplemental Patches is a client-side mod that provides patches for shaderpacks so that content from other mods renders correctly. Its built-in resource pack covers many well-known mods, and it adds a custom End nebula skybox based on the End atmosphere of Enderscape and a fog effect based on Doom Gloom. It also fixes shader problems in mods such as Endergetic Expansion, Upgrade Aquatic, Doom Gloom, Supplementaries and Pedestals & Item Shelves, including items and block entities that previously showed without shaders.
The mod depends on Euphoria Patches, Fabric Language Kotlin, Iris Shaders, Kotlin for Forge and Oculus. Oculus with Iris Shaders is the only supported way to run it. Because Euphoria Patches is required, shaders patched by it are added on top of the built-in patches. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 23 release versions, 1.20 – 26.2, under the MIT License, and the project is open source.
Key features
Custom shader patches
Shader authors can write their own patches for modded blocks, entities, items and particles through a resource pack.

The mod ships a resource pack covering many named mods, so shader support works without extra setup in most cases.
End nebula skybox
A custom End skybox with a nebula appearance is based on the atmosphere used by Enderscape's End.

A fog effect based on the one in Doom Gloom changes how distant terrain fades in shaderpacks.
