With StaminaZ installed, a stamina bar appears on the HUD and running or other exertion drains it until the player has to slow down to get their breath back.
What it does
StaminaZ adds a stamina mechanic in which physical activity uses up a stamina value shown as a bar in the HUD. Once the bar runs low, the player gets out of breath and has to recover before continuing at full effort. The mod is developed for Fabric, and a Forge version is planned but not yet released. It needs Cloth Config API and Fabric API, and it is released under the MIT License as open source. Files cover 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with 1.0.1+1.21.1 for 1.21.1 as the latest build, published on 2024-09-12. Both the server and every player need it, since it runs on client and server.
