Stackable Totems (up to 64)

by Itamio

Stackable Totems lets each Totem of Undying stack up to 64 in an inventory slot, the same as most other items.

FabricForgeNeoForgeServer-side onlyMIT License1.12.2 – 26.1.2

What it does

Totems of Undying normally do not stack, so each one takes its own slot. With Stackable Totems installed, a single slot holds up to 64 of them. When a player dies while holding the stack, one totem is consumed to save the player and the count drops by one, while the rest stay in the slot. The totem's effect itself is unchanged.

The mod only raises the stack size. Recovery, the health and effects granted on use, and how the totem is obtained all stay as they are in the game. Installation is on the server side: the mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the environment is server-side only, so players join without installing anything. The code is under the MIT License and the project is not open source.

Key features

  1. Stacks of 64

Totems of Undying stack to 64 per slot, freeing inventory space that single totems would take.

  2. One totem used per death

A death consumes one totem from the stack, and the remaining totems stay in the slot.

  3. Unchanged totem effect

Only the stack size changes; the effect a totem grants when used is the same as in vanilla.

Use cases

Carrying spares on a server

Players who keep several totems for risky trips can hold them all in one slot instead of several.

Who it’s for: Server owners who want players to carry more totems without using extra inventory space.

Questions

Does Stackable Totems need to be installed on the client?

No. It runs on the server alone, so players need nothing extra to join.

Which loaders does Stackable Totems support?

The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. The latest files target 26.1.2 and are dated 2026-04-29.

Does a stacked totem still work the same way?

Yes. Stacking only changes how many totems fit in a slot. Using one still consumes a single totem and grants its usual effect.
