FIX MY PINGGGGG
by Itamio
FIX MY PINGGGGG is a client-side mod that repairs server pings and speeds up joining servers that have stalled on the connecting screen.
What it does
The mod targets a long-standing problem where the server list stops showing ping after a network change. After a player switches Wi-Fi networks, connects through a VPN and then closes it, Minecraft can keep sending requests along the old network route. FIX MY PINGGGGG clears that stale route so server pings resolve again, without the player needing to toggle Wi-Fi or restart the game.
Players can join servers without waiting through long connecting messages, and the server list shows pings properly again. The mod runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge and is published for game versions 1.8.9 – 26.1.2. Only the client needs it, so server owners do not install anything. The code is all rights reserved, and the mod is not open source.
Key features
Reliable server pings
Server pings in the multiplayer list keep working after the player changes networks, instead of stopping until a restart.
Stale route repair
The mod stops Minecraft from reusing an old IP route after a switch between Wi-Fi networks or a VPN toggle.
Updated ping display
The server list pings are presented with a refreshed look, alongside the fixes for connection behavior.

Use cases
After switching networks
A player who moves from one Wi-Fi network to another, or leaves a VPN, can see server pings again without restarting Minecraft.
Joining a VPN-blocking server
A player who uses a VPN only to join a server that blocks VPNs can turn it off and still get pings and joins working.
Who it’s for: Players who use multiplayer and notice that the server list stops showing pings after a network change, or whose joins stall on the connecting screen.

What the author says
This mod does NOT make server pings look fancier – it fixes bugs and issues instead! If you've ever switched your IP, connected to another Wi‑Fi, used a VPN (and then closed it), and later found that server pings stopped working – that's because Minecraft still tries to use the old network route. I personally use a…
