Sweet Potato Reborn
by QWERTY770
Sweet Potato Reborn adds sweet potatoes as a food crop, along with cooking, enchanting, grinding and composting routes for them.
What it does
Raw sweet potatoes can be cooked in a furnace, smoker or over a campfire to produce baked sweet potatoes, which restore a large amount of hunger. Eating several kinds of sweet potato also leaves a potato peel behind. A magic cube converts raw sweet potatoes between categories and enchants them, and eating an enchanted sweet potato grants an extra status effect.
Sweet potatoes can be ground into a powder that upgrades saplings and crops through the agroforestry table, raising their growth rate. The powder also serves as a sublimation agent in magic pots, which improves the quality of conversion. Enchanted saplings grow faster than ordinary ones, and enchanted oak and birch saplings can naturally generate beehives. Sapling and crop enchanting depends on this powder.
The mod is a rewrite of Sweet Potato Mod for Minecraft 1.20 and later. It keeps the original content and adapts it to newer versions, and it is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Architectury API is required on all loaders, and Fabric API is required on Fabric. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The code is open source under the Apache License 2.0.
