Client Export Helper

by QWERTY770

Client Export Helper is a Fabric client-side library that writes advancement progress and statistics from the game into JSON files.

FabricClient-side onlyGNU General Public License v3.0 or laterOpen source1.21 – 1.21.11

What it does

Client Export Helper exports client-side data, namely advancement progress and statistics, into JSON files stored in the Minecraft directory. Advancement output lists each advancement's criteria, which are completed and the exact time they were completed. Output can be limited to chosen namespaces, and the export accepts an optional argument for that purpose. Advancement files follow the same format as vanilla data packs, and statistics files match the format of vanilla Minecraft.

Each export is written to a file named after its type and timestamp, for example minecraft-advancements-2025-09-24-110000.json for advancements under the minecraft namespace. Statistics can also be exported and then compared against the statistics screen in the game. The mod runs on the client alone, so a server does not need it. It depends on Fabric API, and the code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. Builds target 1.21 – 1.21.11, with 3.1.0 for 1.21.11 as the latest file.

Key features

  1. Advancement progress export

Writes the criteria of each advancement, the completed ones and their exact completion time to a JSON file.

  2. Statistics export

Writes the player's statistics to a JSON file, matching the figures shown on the statistics screen.

  3. Namespace filtering

An optional argument limits advancement export to the namespaces the player specifies.

  4. Vanilla-style output

Advancement and statistics files use the same structure as vanilla data packs and the vanilla statistics format.

Full comparison

Recipegraph is a Fabric mod under the MIT License, published for 1.21.1, and it runs on the client alone. MPatcher works on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, is released under the MIT License, and works on either side, and neither needs it. Client Export Helper differs from both in purpose, since it exports advancement and statistics data rather than recipes or patches.
