Simply No Jump Delay
by NadeProduct
Simply No Jump Delay removes the short pause that stops a player from jumping right after landing, so repeated jumps follow one another without waiting.
What it does
The cooldown after touching the ground is the default behavior that this mod removes. Once it is gone, jumping immediately after a landing registers as soon as the key is pressed, which is the change parkour routes and PvP minigames depend on. Movement feels more fluid and responsive, and the mod does not add any items, blocks or gameplay systems on top of that change.
The mod is a client-side only change: only the client needs it, and a server can run without it. It works in single-player and on multiplayer servers that allow the client to run it, and no server-side setup is required. It is available for Fabric and Forge, with the latest Fabric file at 1.0 for 1.21.5. The code is released under the MIT License, so the project is not open source.
The mod does not require any other mod, and it is not a dependency of anything else in the catalog. Installing it on the client alone is enough.
Key features
Jump cooldown removed
The short delay after landing is taken out, so the next jump can start as soon as the player presses the key.
Responsive movement
Jumping feels more immediate in platforming and fast combat, where a fraction of a second changes the result.
Single-player and multiplayer
The change applies on the client, so the same behavior appears in single-player worlds and on servers that allow the mod.
No added items or systems
The mod changes only the jump timing and adds no new blocks, items or mechanics to the game.

How it compares
Jump Delay Fix is also client-side only, but it is released under the Apache License 2.0 and targets Fabric and NeoForge for 1.21.9 – 26.3. No Jump Delay Enhanced is a Fabric-only, client-side only option under the MIT License, for 1.20.4 – 26.3. Simply No Jump Delay covers Fabric and Forge under the MIT License, so it reaches older Forge builds that those alternatives do not list.
