Simply Sickles adds a sickle weapon for Fabric players on Minecraft 1.21, with six material tiers from wood to netherite.

What it does

The sickle is a new melee weapon. It is a little quicker to swing than a sword but deals less damage per hit. Its texture is taken from Minecraft Dungeons, and the mod comes in the usual material types: wood, stone, gold, iron, diamond and netherite. Fabric API is required. The environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod installed; it is released under the MIT License and is not open source.

The sickle is aimed at farming-related use, although the author notes it does not replace other weapons for combat. The author plans to change the mod in future versions, and the current release is 1.0.0-1.21, published for Minecraft 1.21 on 2024-07-24.
