Paper Talismans

Paper Talismans adds three ancient-Chinese themed talismans that apply temporary effects, and the paper, bamboo and Fulus recipes used to craft them.
What it does
Paper Talismans adds several talismans inspired by ancient Chinese design. The Strength Talisman grants the strength effect for several minutes, and the Resistance Talisman grants the resistance effect for several minutes. The Fire Talisman launches fireballs at opponents. Players craft talismans from four sheets of paper, or from three bamboo slips in a set order, and blank talismans can be combined with Fulus to get a talisman to use.
The mod requires Fabric API and is built for Fabric only, with a single game version: 1.20.1. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code is under the MIT License, and the project is not open source.
Key features
Strength Talisman
Applies the strength effect for several minutes when used, giving a short boost to melee and combat.
Resistance Talisman
Applies the resistance effect for several minutes when used, reducing incoming damage during that time.
Fire Talisman
Launches a fireball toward an opponent, letting players strike from a distance.
Paper and bamboo crafting
Talismans are made from four paper, or from bamboo slips that come in a specific order, giving different results.
Fulus crafting
Blank talismans combined with Fulus produce a talisman ready to use.
