Simple Orbital Strike Mod

A crafted fishing rod calls down two kinds of orbital strike. One drops a single large blast on the target, produced by fused TNT that spawns high above it and falls onto the point. The other sends a vertical line of explosions down onto the block the player is aiming at. Each shot is set by a rod that uses up its durability per craft, shown on a visible durability bar, and a rod can be used several times before it breaks. Strikes reach up to 200 blocks.

Crafting the large-blast rod requires eight TNT in a full ring around the rod's center, while the column rod takes four TNT in a shape. Each crafting slot takes TNT, with about 32 TNT per slot by default. The mod works in survival and creative, and the server operator can use a command to give rods to players. Strike radius, fuse time, spawn height, velocity multiplier, explosion power and whether the column shot breaks blocks are all configurable.

The mod is built for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt, and its builds cover 1.21 – 26.3 on each loader where the loader is available. Only the server has to run it, and players may add it for their own client. The code is released under the MIT License, but the project is not open source.
