Simple Atlas
by RubberToe
With Simple Atlas, a single Atlas item stores several filled maps and opens them in one interactive view.
What it does
The Atlas item holds multiple filled maps. Players open it to view and pan around the explored area without switching between separate maps. Scrolling zooms the view, and left-dragging pans it. Carrying an atlas lets a player keep the mapped world in one item instead of many.
Maps are added to an atlas through a cartography table. Only maps matching the scale of the first map inserted are accepted. A paper in the table can scale an atlas map up one level, a book duplicates an atlas, and two atlases of equal size can be merged into one with their maps and waypoints combined. The mod is inspired by the Map Atlases mod by Pepperoni-Jabroni.
Simple Atlas requires Cloth Config API and Fabric API, and Mod Menu is optional. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Builds are published for Fabric and Quilt, and the code is released under the MIT License as open source.
