sheeta's Amethyst Tools

by sheeta

sheeta's Amethyst Tools adds amethyst versions of the pickaxe, shovel and hoe, which are evolved forms of the Netherite tools and are charged by amethyst clusters.

FabricClient and serverMIT License1.21.1

What it does

Each amethyst tool keeps the same base stats as its regular Netherite counterpart, and the upgraded version gains a unique ability. The Amethyst Pickaxe mines a 3x3 area, though only blocks with up to three times the hardness of the block being hit are affected. The Amethyst Shovel also mines a 3x3 area, and the Amethyst Hoe tills and harvesting over a 3x3 area while replanting crops automatically when right-clicked. Holding Shift while using a tool turns the area effect off.

Tools are recharged by combining them with amethyst clusters on an anvil, at 25% charge per cluster, and two amethyst tools combined have their charges added together. The Mending enchantment can use experience to restore the charge, which brings durability back to full. Amethyst buds and clusters are found by mining amethyst geodes with Silk Touch. Requires Fabric API. The environment is client and server, so servers and every player need the mod, and it is published for Fabric only, under the MIT License, and is not open source.
