Reusable Smithing

Reusable Smithing stops a smithing template from being used up when an armor trim or netherite upgrade is applied, so the template can be reused.

What it does

Normally a smithing template is consumed each time a smithing recipe is applied to armor or tools. This mod changes those recipes so the template itself is kept, which makes the armor trim, netherite upgrade and diamond upgrade recipes repeatable. The change applies to the server, and the mod is published for Fabric across 22 release versions, 1.20 – 26.1.2.

    Applying a smithing template to armor or tools no longer removes the template from the recipe.

  2. Recipes changed for trims and upgrades

    The mod modifies the smithing recipes for armor trims, the netherite upgrade and the diamond upgrade.
