Real Camera
by xTracr
With Real Camera installed, the first-person view moves from the eyes to a chosen point on the player's body, and the player's own model can be drawn in that view.
What it does
The camera can be bound to a specific part of the body, and its position and rotation can be adjusted. The F6 key switches the effect on or off, and other hotkeys nudge the camera while it is active. Settings live in a config screen that needs Cloth Config API, and a model view screen lets the player pick faces and layers of a model. The mod is client-side only, so servers do not need it, and it is open source under the MIT License.
Most third-party models can be used, but each one has to be configured by hand. Setup starts by assigning a key for the model view screen. Inside that screen, a left click with left Alt held selects a face of the model, and scrolling with left Alt held moves between its layers. Real Camera requires Fabric API, and Cloth Config API and Mod Menu are optional. Builds exist for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, covering 1.18.2 – 26.3, with the latest file for 26.3 on Fabric and NeoForge and 1.20.1 on Forge.
