Rainbow
by GeyserMC
Rainbow is a client-side Fabric tool that generates Geyser block, item, skull and waypoint mappings from loaded Java resource packs.
What it does
Rainbow reads the assets of resource packs that the client has loaded and gathers information about blocks, items, sounds and waypoint styles. It detects custom blocks through block state overrides and inspects items in the inventory, container and crafting menus when they are opened. From those results it writes mapping files that Bedrock resource packs can use alongside Geyser's custom content APIs. The mapping output is described by the author as experimental, and the list of supported features is more complete than the short summary here.
Fabric API is required, and the mod must be installed on a Minecraft client. Only the client needs it, and the server side is not involved. Rainbow is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later. Files are published for Minecraft 26.1 – 26.3, with the latest Fabric build, 0.2.1-26.3-b56 for 26.3, released on 2026-10-15 on the beta channel. Snapshot builds are not mentioned.
