Hurricane is a server-side compatibility mod for Geyser setups, adding workarounds that let Bedrock players on a Java server avoid stuck states and collision problems.
What it does
Hurricane is a Fabric and NeoForge port of GeyserMC's Hurricane plugin. It bundles a set of workarounds that Geyser players can apply on a server to improve playability, including a fix for Bedrock players getting stuck on bamboo dripstone, which lets them ride pigs and striders. A bamboo dripstone collision setting controls server-side collision, and entity handling is adjusted so the server controls entities the way Bedrock expects.
Hurricane requires Floodgate and Geyser to be present on the same server, since it only works alongside them. Its config lists each workaround, and the author warns that some of them could be used for exploitative purposes, so server owners should read the list before enabling anything. A further option suppresses Mismatch destroy block position warnings in the log.
The mod is server-side only, so players need nothing installed on their end. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge across 14 release versions, 1.19.2 – 1.21.4, and the code is open source under the MIT License.
