With Floodgate installed on a server, Bedrock Edition players can join an online mode Java server without a Java account.

What it does

Floodgate lets connections from Geyser reach a server that runs in online mode, which normally accepts only Java accounts. Bedrock players sign in through their own Xbox account, and the server admits them without a separate Java login. The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything, and the server needs no other mod to run it.

    Connections from Geyser are allowed onto servers that verify Mojang accounts, which the server would otherwise refuse.

    Bedrock players authenticate with their own Xbox account, so no Java account is needed on their side.
