With Quick Measure installed, a player can read the exact distance between two chosen points in blocks, measured in-game.
What it does
Quick Measure is a Fabric mod for 1.20.1 that adds a simple client-side command which turns on Ruler Mode. In that mode the player can calculate block-to-block distances directly in the world, and the distance between two points is shown instantly. The ruler tool is part of the same feature, so measuring does not need any other item.
The mod is aimed at architects who plan large-scale builds and need reliable spacing between structures. Only the client needs it: the server runs without it and never needs installing there, so players can use it on any server. The license is All rights reserved, and the project is not open source.
Builds are published for Fabric alone, and the only game version with files is 1.20.1. The latest file is 1.0, released on 2025-05-09, the same day the mod was first published.
