Portable Tables
by alphamode
Portable Tables lets players carry workbench blocks in their inventory and place them wherever they need one, covering the crafting, anvil, smithing, cartography, bell and blast furnace tables.
What it does
Each portable table is an item that opens its matching screen when used. Players can place one down to work, pick it back up, and keep it with the rest of their gear, so a crafting station does not need to be built at every site. Several tables are available, including damaged anvil variants, and the list of implemented tables is the author's current set.
The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Required dependencies are Glass Config API and StationAPI. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and Quilt, with the latest builds targeting 1.20.1. The mod is open source under the MIT License, and its source code and issue tracker are public. Snapshot builds are published as well.
Key features
Portable crafting table
A crafting table item that opens the normal crafting grid wherever it is placed.

Smithing, cartography and blast furnace
Smithing, cartography and blast furnace tables can be carried and placed on demand.
Portable bell
A bell that can be carried and rung on any spot a player chooses.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
This mod also publishes snapshot builds. Snapshots are not shown in the matrix.

Use cases
Remote building sites
Players working far from a base can place a crafting station and an anvil on the spot instead of walking back.
Small multiplayer groups
Players on a server can each carry their own stations, so a single base is not needed for every craft.
Who it’s for: Players who want workstations available away from a base. Server owners who run a shared world should install it on the server and on every client.
