Hephaestus is a Fabric port of a Forge tool-crafting mod, letting players build tools from many materials and then modify them into other tools.
What it does
Tools are assembled from parts made of different materials, and each finished tool can be modified again to become something else. A tool is not consumed by these changes, can be renamed, and stays with the player who made it. Hephaestus needs Fabric API and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Builds are published for Fabric and Quilt, for 1.18.2 – 1.20.1, under the MIT License and open source. Files for 1.18.2 are the latest on Fabric, and files for 1.20.1 are the latest on Quilt.
