Protection Grace Enchantment adds a chestplate enchantment that absorbs the first hit a player takes.

What it does

The enchantment applies to chestplates and is capped at level 4. A player can obtain it from the enchantment table, from loot chests, or by trading with villagers. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack for server platforms, with files covering 1.21 – 26.3.

The server must run the mod, while clients may leave it out, so players can join without installing anything. The license is GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later, and the source code is public.
