Poem Lover
Poem Lover shows the End poem to players on their first trip back from the End, through the Overworld's end-portal exit.
What it does
When a player first leaves the End and arrives in the Overworld, the mod shows the End poem that Mojang includes in the game, as it would have appeared on the first visit. The display only happens once per world for each player who has not yet seen it.
Only the client needs the mod, so a server can run without it and players join it alone. It is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with its source code and issue tracker public. Files target 1.18 – 1.21.7 across Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt.
Key features
End poem on first exit
The poem is displayed the first time a player leaves the End through the exit portal and arrives in the Overworld.
Shown once per player
After the poem has appeared, it is not repeated, so the moment stays a one-time event.
Client-side behavior
Mojang lets the client decide whether the portal's respawn view is shown, and the mod uses that choice on the player's side.
