Pocket Tools
by Emi
Pocket Tools puts a set of inventory-only items into the player's inventory screen, including a jukebox, an armor stand, a cactus helper and an end portal frame.
What it does
The items work only inside the inventory interface. They do not break or place blocks and they do not take part in combat. The mod draws on internal inventory features that the earlier versions lacked, so the items behave in ways that were not possible before.
The jukebox plays discs from the inventory, the armor stand holds equipment for display, the cactus removes unwanted items from the inventory, and the end portal is a decorative frame carried in the pocket. The mod is published for Fabric and Quilt across 1.19 – 1.20.1, with 1.3.0 for 1.20.1 as the latest file. Client and server both need it, and the code is open source under the MIT License. No required dependency is listed for Fabric and Quilt.
Key features
Pocket jukebox
Discs can be played from inside the inventory, so music continues while items are being sorted.
Pocket armor stand
A small armor stand kept in the inventory shows worn equipment without placing a block in the world.
Pocket cactus
A cactus item that clears unwanted stacks from the inventory, with a warning in its description not to poke it.
Pocket end portal
An end portal frame carried in the pocket, shown as a decorative item that refers to the end portal of the game.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
This mod also publishes snapshot builds. Snapshots are not shown in the matrix.
Use cases
Inventory sorting
Players who keep a full inventory can use the helper items to clear space while staying in the GUI.
Music in the menu
Discs stay playable in the inventory, so a player can listen while managing gear.
Who it’s for: Players who want small, inventory-only items on Fabric or Quilt for 1.19 – 1.20.1, on a client and server setup where both sides run the mod.
