Packed Up (Backpacks)
Packed Up adds backpacks that carry more storage than the vanilla chest, with four tiers of upgrades from the Standard Backpack up to the Diamond Backpack.
What it does
Each backpack tier holds a larger inventory: the Standard Backpack gives 3 rows, the next upgrade gives 4 rows, a further one gives 5 rows, and the Diamond Backpack gives 7 rows. A player moves to a higher tier by upgrading from the tier below it, so the earlier backpack is used as the base for the next one.
The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 51 release versions, 1.12 – 26.3, and its files need both the server and every player. Fabric API, SuperMartijn642's Config Lib and SuperMartijn642's Core Lib are required, while Curios API and Trinkets are optional. Packed Up is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, though public links to its source code and issue tracker exist.
Key features
Three rows of storage
The first backpack tier holds a single chest-sized inventory of 3 rows, enough for basic carrying.
Upgrade chain
Each backpack upgrades from the one before it, so a player moves from Standard to Iron or Copper, then to Golden or Silver, and finally to Diamond.
Seven rows at the top tier
The Diamond Backpack provides 7 rows of storage, the largest inventory in the chain.
Four and five row tiers
The middle tiers offer 4 rows and 5 rows of storage, giving a step between the smaller and larger backpacks.

Use cases
Carrying loot on long trips
A player who explores far from base can carry the items found on the way in one backpack instead of several chests.
Who it’s for: Players who want more inventory space than a single chest, and who prefer to carry storage on their person rather than place it in the world.
