SuperMartijn642's Config Lib
Config Lib lets a mod author define config values once, with reloading and syncing handled automatically.
What it does
A mod built on Config Lib defines each value once with a name and a default, and the library takes over reloading values between world loads and syncing them with clients. Integer and double values also require a minimum and a maximum. The definition returns a supplier, which the mod stores and calls to read the current value. Comments can be attached to a value or to the active category, and categories are opened and closed with push and pop calls before the config is finished with build.
By default a value reloads when a world loads. A value can instead be set to reload only when Minecraft starts, which the library treats as a game restart option. Fabric API is required on every loader. Builds are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.12 – 26.3, under All rights reserved, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
Key features
Single definition
Each value is declared once, and the library reads and writes it for the rest of the mod's code through a supplier.
Automatic reloading
Values reload when a world loads by default, and can be marked to reload only on a game restart instead.
Value syncing
Values are synced between the server and its clients, so players see the same settings the server uses.
Categories and comments
Values can be grouped into categories, and comments can be added to a value or to the active category.

Use cases
Mod settings
A mod author who needs user-editable settings can define them once rather than writing separate load, reload and sync code for each value.
Who it’s for: Mod authors who want their configuration handled by a shared library, and players who want the settings in those mods to update without a manual restart.
How it compares
UI Lib is client-side only and open source under the Apache License 2.0 for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, covering a different job from configuration. YAML Config is open source under the Apache License 2.0 with Fabric and NeoForge files, and works on either side, and neither side needs it. Config Lib is not open source and is published under All rights reserved.

What the author says
SuperMartijn642's Config Lib allows you to specify a config once and it then handles reloading values between world loads, syncing values with clients, and generating values for client- or server-only on its own. A value can be added to the config with ModConfigBuilder#define which takes a name and a default value…
