Oxide
Oxide adds iron, cement and brick decoration blocks, plus a sprayer that dyes, rusts, varnishes or cures iron, and only Oxide's own blocks rust.
What it does
Oxide covers industrial-style building materials. Corrugated iron, cut iron, iron scaffolding, iron pillars, heavy iron trapdoor bars and wrought iron fences and gates are added alongside new iron blocks. Cement can be poured and placed as block cement, and cinder, clinker, stock and cream bricks extend the set of masonry options.
Vanilla iron blocks stay untouched and do not rust. Only the blocks added by Oxide take part in the rust effect, so a rusted look is a deliberate choice made with the sprayer. Oxide is published for Fabric and NeoForge on 1.21.1 and needs the same version on both sides, since the environment is client and server. The license is the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and the mod is open source with its source code and issue tracker public.
Key features
Industrial decay blocks
Rust ruin and corrugated iron blocks give a weathered industrial look to walls and roofs.
Iron structural pieces
Iron scaffolds, pillars and cut iron blocks make frames and supports for building projects.
Iron fences and gates
Wrought iron fences, fence gates and heavy iron trapdoor bars add enclosure pieces to a build.
Cement and brick set
Cement can be poured into block cement, and cinder, clinker, stock and cream bricks are placed like any other block.
Sprayer with five modes
The craftable sprayer applies water, dye, honey, lava or milk, and each one changes the iron in a different way.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Builders who want iron and brick decoration in an industrial style, and server owners who want the same blocks on both sides of a multiplayer world.
How it compares
IronRust is open source under the MIT License and targets 1.21.9 – 1.21.11 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, so it covers different versions and loaders from Oxide. Iron Fixed is NeoForge only, for 1.21.1, under the MIT License and not open source, so it shares Oxide's version but not its Fabric support. Smooth Double Doors is open source under the Apache License 2.0 for Fabric on 1.21.8 – 1.21.11, a door mod rather than a building-block set.
