Grounded

by Silversmith Mods

Five new soil types from Grounded spawn across the world, and the crops planted on them respond differently than they do on ordinary farmland.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient and serverGNU General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.20.1 – 1.21.1

What it does

Each soil type is found in certain biomes: Earthen Clay appears in savannas and badlands, and Loam appears in dark forests and jungles. On Earthen Clay farmland, wheat and bamboo mature more quickly, whereas Loam farmland gives sweet berry bushes, pumpkins and melons a growth boost. Soils come with their own paths, farmland and grassy or coarse variants, and villages place paths made from soils suited to their biome.

Mulch and Nulch are ornamental blocks that sit at the base of stem plants, and they can also be arranged into raised flowerbed heaps. Required dependency: Moonlight Lib must be installed next to Grounded on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. The server and every player need the mod installed. Source code and the issue tracker are public, and it is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only.

Who it’s for: Farmers and builders who want soils that change crop growth and give farms a regional look. Server owners who run modpacks with farming content will also find it useful.
