Orbital Strike Cannon
by Stepan1411
With the Orbital Strike Cannon datapack, players cast a fishing rod and call down TNT from the sky, in three weapon families and three power levels.
What it does
Each weapon is a fishing rod recipe. Casting the rod marks a target, and the strike drops explosives on that spot. The three families are NUKE, STAB and CINEMATIC NUKE, and each comes in power levels P1, P2 and P3. Adding redstone to a recipe creates aim variants for precision targeting, and some variants are infinite-use, so a STAB rod never runs out of charges.
Rods are crafted at the crafting table. Server owners can switch crafting off and on with the function commands under orbital:settings/craft, which suits maps where players should not build these weapons. The mod is published as a datapack, plugin and mod, and it requires Fabric API on the Fabric loader. The server needs it, and clients may leave it out.
Files cover 33 release versions, 1.17 – 26.2, with V7.0+mod for 26.2 as the latest build on each loader. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, though its source code and issue tracker are public.
Key features
Three weapon families
NUKE, STAB and CINEMATIC NUKE are separate fishing rod weapons, each with its own strike pattern.
Three power levels
Every weapon comes in P1, P2 and P3 levels, so the same family can scale from small to large strikes.
Precision aim variants
Adding redstone to a rod recipe creates a variant that targets a chosen point more precisely.
Infinite-use variants
Some STAB variants never consume their charges, so the rod can be cast repeatedly without refilling.
Togglable crafting
Shaped crafting table recipes can be disabled or re-enabled with server commands.

Use cases
Event and arena maps
Map makers can let players call strikes during matches, using crafting toggles to control who gets the rods.
Survival servers with explosive weapons
Server owners who want TNT-based weapons can add them without changing the rest of the world.
Who it’s for: Server owners and map makers who want fishing rod weapons that drop TNT, with server-side control over crafting. Players on a server that runs the datapack use the weapons without installing anything.
