World Orbital is a Fabric equipment mod that adds a linkable orbital strike cannon, operated through a fishing rod and a set of wb commands.
What it does
The cannon is based on the orbital strike cannons used by Wemmbu in the Unstable SMP, and the mod reproduces that design. Strikes are aimed by linking a fishing rod to a cannon, then casting at a target. Players create cannons with a command that takes a name and a type, and each cannon can be given a name so it is simple to find later.
The mod is meant for servers, where a strike can be used as a shared event. It works in survival and creative. In creative the item is not consumed; in survival the item breaks instantly, regardless of its durability. Fishing-rod linking stays in effect once set, so a long-running cannon can be reused across sessions.
World Orbital runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is published for Fabric only, for the single game version 1.21.10, under a Creative Commons Attribution No Derivatives 4.0 license, and it is not open source.
