Audio disc turns music from a URL into custom discs that a server plays through its jukeboxes, with spatial audio for players who have Simple Voice Chat.
What it does
Audio disc lets a server owner upload an audio file from the internet and assign it to a music disc. Commands accept an audio URL, and the mod fetches it while showing progress in real time. Supported formats include MP3, OGG, WAV, M4A and WebM, and files in other formats are converted automatically with FFmpeg, which must be available on the server. Custom discs sit alongside the vanilla music discs, so both kinds can be played.
The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything. Playback is kept in sync across all players, and a jukebox plays the disc within the standard range of 64 blocks. Spatial audio is delivered through the Simple Voice Chat integration, which requires that mod on the server. Audio disc is published for Fabric only, across six release versions 1.21.6 – 1.21.11, with 1.4 for 1.21.11 as the latest file. It is licensed as All rights reserved and is not open source.
